Ok so you have read the “About us” section
You would be right to assume that there is a cost involved in being a BDA member but don’t worry the cost is actually quite minimal. All the details about the cost are listed below, but one thing that you should know is that the BDA does not make a profit. This means that at end of each year any monies left in the account is dealt with as the members see fit, last year this took the form of a charitable donation and a refund to members that reduced the actual cost by £10.00 per month.
So what’s the cost?
The BDA charges a monthly membership fee of £35 per month, and on joining there is an one off £150 joining fee.
The membership fee includes the cost of breakfast, room hire and administration costs of the group.
New members are asked to pay the first month’s membership fee of £35 and the one off £150 administration fee by cheque on application.
Membership fees are payable monthly in advance by standing order. The Business Development Association is not registered for VAT.
